TRIP is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that represents the common interest of our neighbors with regard to community organization, social activities, neighborhood clean-up, and business development.
In late 2012 we changed our name from U.N.I.T.E (United Neighbors in Team Effort) to TRIP – The Residents of Irving Park. After much discussion at several general meetings it was decided that TRIP helps us better identify with the name of the neighborhood we represent. We want to convey a broader sense of communityspirit and build a more modern image as we develop our goals beyond the anti crime agenda set at the organization's founding in 1976.
Membership today which is $20 per household. We appreciate the support of all of our neighbors over the years as we continue to work together to make the Irving Park community a great place to live.
